Our sessions are scheduled for the third (or sometimes fourth) Tuesday of every month from 6:30pm to 8pm. Every 90 minute session of Still Death starts with an educational presentation on comparative anatomy, evolution and other natural history topics using skulls from our collection. The rest of the time participants are free to use the skulls brought that evening as references for drawing, painting and other artistic endeavors. Here are some of our upcoming topics (please note that they may be subject to change):
February 20, 2018 – Not From Around Here: This month we’ll draw the skulls of critters from far-flung lands well outside of North America. FB Event Page CANCELED due to illness–sorry, and see you next month!
March 20, 2018 – Mustelid Madness! Come draw a variety of weasel skulls, from the tiny ermine to the biggest mustelid of all, the wolverine. FB Event Page
