Upcoming Sessions

Our sessions are scheduled for the third (or sometimes fourth) Tuesday of every month from 6:30pm to 8pm. Every 90 minute session of Still Death starts with an educational presentation on comparative anatomy, evolution and other natural history topics using skulls from our collection. The rest of the time participants are free to use the skulls brought that evening as references for drawing, painting and other artistic endeavors. Here are some of our upcoming topics (please note that they may be subject to change):

June 19, 2018 – Teeth! You can tell a lot about a mammal by looking at its teeth. This month we’ll explore a variety of critters with interesting adaptations in their teeth, and of course draw and paint them! Facebook Event Page

July 17, 2018 – Tarot of Bones: This month I’ll be bringing original art pieces from the Tarot of Bones, featuring a variety of skulls on backgrounds made of natural and found materials. Bring your colors! Facebook Event Page
